Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: 18 October 2026
About this policy
This policy sets out what businesses may and may not do with KrisBiz, including Front Desk, PayUp and Payroll Lite. It is part of our Terms of Service. It covers the business owner and every staff member the business adds. KrisBiz sends messages through Meta’s WhatsApp Business Platform, so you must also follow Meta’s WhatsApp Business Messaging Policy and Commerce Policies.
Messaging your customers
Only message people who gave you their phone number and agreed to hear from you on WhatsApp.
Honour every request to stop, whether it comes on WhatsApp or another way, including a reply of STOP. Don’t message that person again.
No spam. Don’t send bulk or unsolicited marketing, and don’t confuse, mislead or surprise people with your messages.
Never forward or share one customer’s chat with another customer.
Don’t ask customers to send full card numbers, bank account numbers or ID numbers in chat.
What you sell
Don’t use KrisBiz to sell, promote or arrange anything illegal.
Don’t use KrisBiz for goods or services that Meta’s WhatsApp Business Messaging Policy or Commerce Policies prohibit, such as weapons, drugs, adult products or services, gambling, or real, virtual or fake currency.
Content and conduct
No illegal, fraudulent, deceptive, harassing, threatening or hateful messages, and no sexually explicit content.
Don’t treat people unfairly because of race, ethnicity, colour, national origin, citizenship, religion, age, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, family status, marital status, disability, or medical or genetic condition.
Don’t pretend to be another business or person, or mislead people about who you are.
Customer and staff information
Use your customers’ and workers’ information only to serve them and run your business, and follow Jamaica’s Data Protection Act, 2020.
Make sure you have the right to share their information with KrisBiz.
Don’t sell their information, and don’t use it for anything they wouldn’t expect.
Keep your records accurate
Keep your services, prices, hours and policies up to date, so the assistant gives correct answers.
Keep bookings, invoices, payment records and payroll inputs accurate. Only mark something as paid when it has been paid.
Using the service fairly
Don’t try to break into, overload or disrupt KrisBiz.
Don’t scrape, copy or reverse-engineer KrisBiz, and don’t get around its limits or security.
Don’t use KrisBiz to send messages for other businesses or resell it without our written permission.
Logins and staff accounts
Each person needs their own login. Don’t share logins.
You are responsible for what your staff do in KrisBiz. Give them only the access they need, and remove access when they leave.
Tell us straight away at support@krisbiz.com if you think a login has been misused.
If this policy is broken
We may warn you, limit features, suspend your account or close it, depending on how serious the problem is. Meta may also limit or block your WhatsApp Business number under its own policies, and we cannot override Meta’s decisions. We may report illegal activity to the authorities.
Reporting misuse
If you see KrisBiz being misused, email support@krisbiz.com with the business name and what happened.
